in collaboration with the Swiss Cello Association.
Envisaged in 2020 to mark the tribute paid to Guy Fallot,
the Swiss Cello Association was born in Geneva in 2021
in order to create a network of cello lovers, encourage
vocations and broaden the repertoire.
The exchanges between excellence and amateur practice,
the solidarity between generations, and the diversity
of repertoires and genres covered aim to make the
cello a popular instrument, accessible to all.

latest cultural event which is open to the public.
The event is organized in partnership with Ponticello.

The Geneva Competition is proud to be hosting the Swiss Cello Association’s inaugural concert. This event, which celebrates the many facets of the cello, will take place a few days before the Final Round and brings together young talents, students from Swiss Universities of Music and internationally renowned artists.
